I sold a new road bike build [at cost] to a coworker last month. He's been riding out on Fridays - getting used to it and building strength. Today he parked out about 12 miles and road in. He lives 45 miles away so he'll always drive part of the way. He's planning on 3 days a week.
That makes four at my location that bike at least once a week (and sometimes 4 times). I'm rebuilding an Bottecchia road bike (including my first powdercoat treatment) for another coworker next month.

Sweet! The more the better.

I'd love to see pics of the Bottecchia.

What am I doing wrong? I've lost four coworkers to excuses and lost of interest. I'm the last one biking.

Most people I mention it to at work just think I'm crazy, although a few have found a little inspiration to get out there and ride recreationally. My boss (he's in his 60's!) is now commuting 20 miles RT about three days a week. He was the one that turned me on to cycling this last year, then I made the decision on my own to start commuting. Inspiration has now come full circle. His son, who is about my age, is commuting about the same distance. He's lost about 80 pounds since he began.

I just think it's cool to see people I know ditching their cars in favor of pedal power.

This is as bought - it will change substantially.

This is a Casati the guard is buying. I've already worked on it. He's lost 65 lbs from dieting and riding a non suspension MTB I got him for free.

That bottecchia is beautiful, the white garage was also a nice touch!
