I want the yamaha road star, but I'm worried about the belt. I prefered a shaft and so the mean streak, vtx 1300 and 1800 were my options. 1800 is a bit heavy, so i would like the road star warrior. Feedback wanted please.

I think everyone on here is pretty partial to chain drive systems, with twin cylinder powerplants.

In regards to the Motorcycle, I think belt drives are fine for cruisers, they are clean, quiet, and plenty strong.

Yeah, fractional horsepower twin cylinder human engines! And transmissions with many speeds!

OH...so chains are better for speed? How about shaft?

I have heard of belt-drive bicycles, but shaft-drive bicycles are somewhat scarce. :)
