Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Maybe I am totally wrong about this but I thought that the FD I got with my 8-Speed group was adjustable but I cannot figure out how to adjust it. There are two pins that hold the face plate of the clamp to the main body via a slotted slider to adjust the clamp size unless I am mistaken. Since I have found absolutly zero info on the web about this I can only assume I am mistaken. If not, then can some one tell me how to adjust this thing? It doesn't look like the pinc are screwed in but I don't want to try and hammer them out if indeed they are threaded.
Pics I hope will help. Thanks.

I believe the pin in the face portion of the clamp is a drift pin. you need to tap it out and then pick one of the other two holes to change the size.

your welcome, was it a roll pin or drift pin?

Not sure. I would guess that by 'roll pin' you mean that it looked like thin metal rolled up? Well that is what it looked like. I only hammered it out enough to release the cam and still hold the pin in it's place. If I released it totally it very well may have rolled out flat. After setting the adjustment I just tapped it home and voila!
