Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well here it is. It used to be purple with decals but someone Kryloned over it which would be pretty easy to remove and re-clear. So what do you guys think it's worth. Also it is in perfect riding order. I just had new tubes and cables put on it when I was riding around on it for fun. The saddle sucks. First bike I have ever ridden with paddle shifters on the downtubes. I guess it is like a jockey shifter on a motorcycle. Fun but kinda sketchy at times.

what kind of dropouts and forkends does it have? I think we saw this bike elsewhere recently. the component mix looks odd or a Squadra shimano LA, 'Z' brakes/levers SR crank....

OH sorry the calipers are Diacompe yes? what are the levers?

well the fork ends look like they are Bianchi but I can't read the dropouts.

would you call that purple color Metalic Violet? or Orchid?

The forks and frame are all stamped with B and say Bianchi so I know it is a Bianchi but I have no clue what year model or value.

Nice couch.

I was thinking a brave man, placing the drive side toward the upholstery... and the couch and pillows are black and red, the bike is now black and red... there is a story there. I also think a lower middle end Bianchi, but the assemblage looks in concert as a whole.

Best way to date any bike is to look up original component codes at the vintage Trek site.
