I've used the search function, but found it lacking.

I'm in the process of making an old craigslist 1970's Schwinn Traveler 3 speed ride-able again. I've got everything essential (wheels/tube/brakes) replaced. will be working on the cables eventually. But specifically what chain size/type do I need for this bike? The chain is a single continuous piece of rust.

thx

I use Google to search BF, because BF searches don't always give the results I seek. Just include "site:bikeforums.net" in your search terms.

For your search, I would google something like:
[site:bikeforums.net Schwinn Traveler "chain size"], which gives these results:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&hs=ZzI&rls=en&q=site%3Abikeforums.net+Schwinn+Traveler+%22chain+size%22&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

(This isn't a "use the f'ing search" reply; just trying to save you a little time next time!).
