Picked up this beauty, the sticker calls it "Light High Tension Steel Tubing", and the shop sticker is Village Cycle, 8128 Vine St, Hartwell; 821-0387
The only other stuff I can get off it is:
Lugged Frame
Lugged Crown Fork
SR stem?
Suntour stem mounted 'Power Shifters' (friction shift)
Dia-Comp Brake Levers
'Custom' on the crank arms (the crank bolt head says Univega Contterless)
Suntour V-GT Luxe rear derailer
Dia-Comp canti brakes
Sunshine hubs?
Suntour front derailuer hanger
Suntour 7 front derailuer
SR Sakae on the handlebars (but they look newer than the rest of the bike)
anywho, i picked it up on the cheap from this kid who said he got a fixie "because he sees a lot of people on them these days" i'ts in great shape with no rust on the frame. needs a little bit of cleaning, maybe switch out a couple of the crispier bolts. I think it'll make a great bike for me to learn a bit about basic maintenance and get my feet wet on road biking. the friction shifters are something i've never dealt with before but after some reading online, it seems like they'll be a breeze.
thanks for checking it out!
