Folding Bikes - The folding BEER thread

I have noticed that many of my fellow folding bicyclists, of all chromosomal tendencies, appear to like beer.

I have several observations about beer; it makes you fat and skint (B=F+S), it poisons your brain cells, (B=BC-(BC/100)) and it makes you Very Silly. (B+1=VS) If you drink hardly any amount, and cycle, you will fall over. (B+C=A+E)

So what is the connection between beer and folding bicycles? Please, no opinions; we need the cold hard maths.

6 pints Leffe divided by 2 feet plus Brompton = Folded bike and body

(6PL/2F) + BR = FBB

After a hard ride on my folding frolic, beer makes me happy and joyful ( B=HH/JJ )

My Brommie likes a beer too, especially local brew from its home city :-)

Wine drinker here--never quite acquired the taste for beer.

The folded bike can be placed under the table when drinking beer. If the person has had too many they cant figure out how to unfold their bike and carry, drag, or forget it and head home.

I could not tell you for the life of me. I don't drink beer or any other alcohol drinks (personal choice for myself, not dictating to others). My father told me that ladies had their own section in Australian pubs when he lived there. So....my little folder will still "disappear" underneath a table while I enjoy a soft drink with others-whether in Australia or the UK. Let the beer flow for others (I don't want to dampen anyone's party or enthusiasm).

Aimed at Safu21 but we'd wish you could make it too! ;-)

My interaction with bikes and beers require queer Boolean logic:

IF #beers > 3,
AND V(B/2) > 8 mph (velocity of folding bike)
THEN D(t)=SIN45 (direction of travel=45 degree sin wave)
AND F=MA into ditch

Thus necessitating trip to hospital followed by trip to LBS for a new bike.

Free Concert & a couple of beers at one bar is the same as a fire code violation at another bar.


FC + (B*Ba1) = FCV + (NB*Ba2)

Free Concert + (Beer * Bar#1) = Fire Code Violation + (No Beer * Bar#2)
