I'm shopping around for clipless pedals and shoes
and i was wondering.. Does it matter what kind of pedals i get? will the shoes fit any clipless pedals? or does it depend on the pedals/shoes?
sorry if this has been asked already.

Pick shoes first. Think of what you want to wear and what you'll be doing on -- or off -- the bike.

Then read this thread, too:

Once you know what kind of shoes you want, you will be able to find a clipless system that works with them.

I'd rather quote someone else's thoroughly-written thread than write the same stuff over and over again. :D
