Opticon Headlight always "on"...

My Opticon 3-LED headlight is always on; can't shut it off without sliding the cover off and removing one of the 4 AA's. Not a terribly big deal as I use NMHI rechargables...but still....I'm gonna wear out the plastic
guides sliding the cover on and off long before I wear out the batteries. The "off" position is actually dim-er position; it's not full brightness.

Anybody have this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Take your time and open it up. Clean all the connections and make sure all wires and contacts are making full contact. This could be a simple fix.

I had that problem, but then I dropped it accidently and it fixed its self. Heh
