Hi all,
I'm considering riding from Staines near Heathrow to the Southampton Docks for the boat show in September. I'm never ridden a distance quite as long as this before (about 65-70 miles) but I do commute to work everyday by bike.
Just wondering whether anyone had any advice or do's or don'ts at all? even if you think I'm mad for considering it without training.
I've found a link online that take you from Chertsey (down the road from me) all the way to Southampton without going near the M3.
Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
