Any compatibility problems to expect?
I'm asking because a friend at work has a beat-to-hell aluminum Schwinn road bike with a bent chainring, and I think he's either too cheap or too mechanically dis-inclined to replace it. I've had a Tiagra crankset that I bought to use on a bike that I've since sold, so it's just languishing in a plastic bag.
