Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Those are wicked! Wow these would be really useful... especially near my place because we don't have many night lights.

Couldn't imagine how expensive those would be. As quickly as I seem to destroy tires, I'd think I would pass on them.

They look pretty cool, but still not sure they would be a higher visibility replacement compared to a blinky - problem is seeing them from directly behind you (where the important cars you can't see are).

Looks like it's not available yet, the company is just trying to see if
people would be interested. The video is not even the actual product,
just a cartoon rendering.

I was under the impression that from the animation the lights were visible from the back as they were embedded in the middle of the tire, not the side. I could be wrong however.

Can't imagine this would be worth anything during daytime. The best taillights are working hard with 4 AA batteries to provide a useful, rear-facing cone of light. Light from these tire-mounted sources are going every which way (a precise engineering term). at nightWould increase visibility from the side, however.

Look cool, I just hope they aren't too flat-prone.
