Howdy folks,
I'm getting ready to start assembling components for a city frankenbike. I'm envisioning a 7 speed hub, bullhorn bars, cyclocross frame, triathlon + cyclocross interuptor levers, and either cantilevers front and back, or a back cantilever, and a front dual-pivot. I really want to put mini v-brakes on it, but the parts, alas, don't seem to exist to make this possible.
Here's the question: Can time trial levers work with cantilever brakes? Can time trial levers work with cyclocross interuptors? Is there any such thing as a linear-pull triathlon lever?
Also, any recommendations on bars with a wide-ish flat part, that don't drop until the forward section?
Anybody ever build or ride a bike like what I've described? If so, how'd you like it?
