Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

And I, completely by chance, ran into him at the finish! :thumb:

I'm bicycle touring in Thailand and happened to be visiting the Royal Palace in Bangkok this afternoon, where his finish was located. I came out of the palace just as he arrived. How cool is that?

Here's his website:

Here he is surrounded by reporters:

You know I was following Alan on Twitter but then he lost his support crew, and the updates became spotty at best.

He supposedly rode right by my house. (within 2 miles) and I had originally answered his call for support along the way....although I never received an answer back. I completely missed his passage through our neck of the woods, and am completely unaware of anyone who even saw him.

I am going to chalk this one up to I just have no idea. To me, way too many gaps at this time to get excited about it.

Prove me wrong, please, because I really was interested in this.
