Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Help guys I need a "good" pump for my mountain bike back pack. I have tried three now the last being the least expensive Nashbar none of them work worth a darn. I have presta valves.
Thanks

I use Topeak Turbo Morph, and it is good up to 160psi, with fold-down foot, hose connection, T-handle, and a flip-down analog gauge. It fits in my Camelbak 'pump port'. Not the cheapest one out there, but it works.

I bought a Topeak Road Morph G pump a few weeks ago and like it a lot. It is frame-mountable, has many great reviews and satisfied users on Amazon.com[1], and works up to 160 PSI. It works for both Schraeder and Presta valves by flipping an internal piece in the pump head; there's no need to carry a separate 'schraeder-to-Presta adapter'.

You want just "good" or "great"? You've already gotten the best answers: the Morph series. Get the one that best suits your tire size. The ones with the gauge have an added bonus.
Remember that these and any mini/frame pump are best for when you need them out on the road/trail. Use a floor pump when you can.
