O.k. so I've been having a hard time finding a helmet to fit my dome and I am hoping that someone here might have run into the same issue and can help me find a brand to fit.
My head is strange in that it's big @ 63cm or 24.8 inches in circumference but it is rather narrow (think the mother alien in the Aliens movies) so any helmet I find that fits front to back almost never fits on the sides. Traditional road bike helmets sit on top of my head looking like a mushroom and the skate type helmets sit lower but are loose on the sides and rock back and forth like an upside down tea cup on a stick.
Any suggestions?

Many of the skate style helmets come with 3 sizes of pads. I use the thin ones on the front and back and the extra thick ones on the sides. That might not be enough for you, but it was enough for me.

You're in luck! The TSG Kraken is designed to fit the most freakish bone domes:

They’ve achieved this by using an EPS structure, which is slotted and joined with thermoplastic segments that allow the helmet to change from a rounder profile to an oval shape around your head – it’s the comfiest fit we’ve tried of any helmet, although it's weighty at 533g.The sturdy high-density ABS shell also takes repeated knocks before it needs replacing, and the overall build quality is of usual TSG spec. It’s a great investment if you have an odd shaped or sized noggin and usually find it difficult to find helmets that fit you properly

PS I'm sure that many on Road Bikes will envy you your streamlined head.

There was another "what helmet fits long narrow heads" thread here recently; I forget which section (maybe Road?). I'm in that category, and find that Bell and Trek helmets fit best, and Giros fit worst.

Edit: here it is: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?668054-What-are-the-best-helmets-for-an-Oval-shaped-skull

You're right. They took a mold of my head and use it to make time trial helmets.
:o)

I can't find any contact information for them.
