Well, i have been searching these formums for a bit now, and i think a thread which highlights those really terrific routes would be helpful not only to me, but to anyone like me in the future. share a favorite long ride in your state, or across a region, or across the country. the odds are good you will help me since i am going to cover alot of ground this fall going from MA to NC following mostly the Adventure Cycling route, then i will cut across NC from durham (suggestions?) into KY (red river gorge!), then find this nachez parkway everyone talks about, then, well, get to Cali and ride on up the coast. so the part from this nachez thingy to cali is in the air totally though i am sure it will involve some great deserts. i am particularly looking forward to NM, AZ, UT (i figure it will be to late in nov for CO). go on, drift off and recall those terrific roads and routes. i will be sure to return the favor if i make it to portland alive! love.
