Hello Everyone. Found this forum and have been following for a few days and decided to join in the fun. I'm an ex-roadie, used to have a late 80's Cannondale SR800 Criterium road bike. Was part of the local club and did a few years of racing. Later after not riding too much, I traded that in for a Gary Fisher mountain bike, and then my current ride, a Rocky Mountain Oxygen mountain bike.

Right now, I do more bike paths, than mountain rides, just trying to get back in shape. Maybe someday another road bike will be added to the stable if I keep up the riding.

Welcome Jeff to Bike Forums.

Have you tried slick tires on your MB for road riding?

Thanks for joining.

Thanks 10 Wheels. I have an old set of Michelin Wildgripper city tires on it now that will be replaced with Specialized fatboys in just a few days. I'm hoping to see an improvement in wheel weight, maybe some in speed too.

Jasonball, Thanks. I live in Akron, NY, about 20 miles east of Buffalo.
