After reading several threads (both on this forum and others I have drawn an inconclusive explanation)
New Bike (only 120 miles on it) 70% built up by me
Installed crank, Front and Rear Derauiller, stem, handlebars, saddle brakes
Ran some of the cabling
LBS
Finished all cabling
Adjusted front and rear derauillers
installed chain
Sram red components
Easton Ceramic BB
Easton Crank
Main issue
Cannot get the rear gear to chain to the lowest 2 gears. The chain after applying heavy force to the shifter just wants to sit on top of the cogs. After letting go of the shifter it falls back two spots.
Cable tension too loose
Chain tension too loose
Rear derauiller needs a high or low adjustment
User error
A secondary issue (may be related) When I go out and ride it has seemed that the crank is getting stiffer. When I am on the high gear on the front and mid to low on the back It seems very tight on the crank. Almost like the bearings are seized or that the brakes are rubbing the rim (they are not). I have to exert alot of power to keep the cadence up. Much more so than on my other bike. Didnt seem to be an issue before.
