Wouldn't the forum do better to make a general thread dealing with not only buying parts, but also general reviews and questions about that part? Meaning, instead of eleventy-five people asking which fork they should buy, and being directed to a "fork buyers guide" to consists of only links to manufacturers sites (that ALL claim to be the best for the job), you could goto the general fork thread and look around. I don't mean a buying guide, either, I mean just talking about the forks in general terms. And each part could have its own thread. How many Avid mech. vs. Hyydro threads have you seen? Maybe I'm being ******** because I'm bored.
