I have a chance to get a Motobecane Mirage I beleive it's a 2003-2005 in great condition for $125.00 is the bike worth it? Here is a picture of it. Thanks in advance......

The Mirage was near the low end of Motobecane's line-up. It looks like the seller has made some modifications, though. The frame is nothing special, but depending on what those components are it still could be worth the asking price.

Any good? Can you say Bikesdirect? They sell them brand new for $399. And that's for a brifter version.

I don't know about the newer Mirage, but the original ones were entry level bikes. If your just starting out it may be o.k. I would think about how heavy you would like a bike. Steel, Aluminum, Carbon ect. What kind of shifters. think about all those things and figure what you want on a bike. Now find a bike with those features. There are lots of Brands with similar features, so don't let that distract you. Most Brands have very similar Components and the frames are made by just a few companies that sell to all Brands.
