Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I went though 81 to 85's catalogs but I couldn't find anything identical to this one.

58cm
alloy wheels
stem shifters
dual brake leveras

Thank you.

Hello Nicedog welcome to the forums. we will try and help but can you provide some more information and better pics? where were you checking Bianchi catalogs? some sites like Bulgier only have a few of the better models. this one certainly looks like a lowerend bike.

what are the derailuers and brakes? better pics really help.

Unfortunately that's the only picture I have, I saw that bike on CL.
I was checking the catalogs on Bulgier and Velobase.

The seller is asking $195. I'll go check it out tomorrow, is there any particular parts I should be looking at to identify it's value?

The fact that it has stem-mounted shifters and "safety" brake levers means that it's a cheaper recreational-level model.
Bianchis that colour of red with gold decals were fairly common in Toronto in the 80's. Frames were made in Japan like many other brands at the time, I believe.
