General Cycling Discussion - if wishes could.....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Good thing you're not in charge of the whole world. If I had to ride in wooden shoes, I'd shoot myself.

Except for the wooden shoes, it might be great!

I always wonder how the Dutch keep track of where their bike is parked in some of those massive parking conglomerations. Definitely the Dutch version of "Dude, Where's my car?

while the idea of bikes only appeals to me, i can only think of the day i need an ambulance or firetruck or have to move a house and picture what would happen if there were only bicycles....

Yes, that would be most inconvenient...
Other than that (and the shoes), that would be really cool!

Total fail. No helmets. And how can they be comfortable if they're not wearing bike clothes?

I love my bikes but I'm a far cry away from ready to get rid of my cars. That being said, I wish some of the other people in the world would get rid of theirs :p

I'm sorry but the world wasn't exactly peachy in the 1950's either, because you rode a bike (wooden shoes or not).
If wishes could come true, I'd just make drivers smarter and more courteous... kinda like they were in my hometown 35 years ago. Had ONE bad encounter with a driver in three years; had more than that since the snow melted this year!
That, and I'd make myself CEO of Wal-Mart for a year... $35M, tax offset, and retire, to ride ride RIDE the wild bike!
