How should i adjust the front derailleur when I have only medium and large chainrings? My SRAM shifter still has the ability to go through all 3 levels. I'm sure I still setup the largest chainring as the highest gear, but what about the medium ring? Does that get setup for mid gear or the lowest gear? Hope this all makes sense.

When you only have 2 chainrings and a front derailleur made for three, you use the outer and middle positions, and use the inner (Low) limit screw to keep the derailleur from moving to the non-existent granny. Doubles are easier to set up than triples because there's no middle position to trim for, the limit screws can be used to trim the inner and outermost positions.

Thanks for the info. Actually I just learned that the SRAM shifter has 2 positions. The middle click that I hear is supposed to be a trim adjustment for extreme gear settings, to avoid any rubbing.
