Classic & Vintage - '80s Falcon twins

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Better photos in the morning, but in the meantime, the following.
For the record, I found out that Dade Cycle used to be the local carrier for Falcon. The chances that these two originated from said shop is quite possible.

So happens to be the color scheme that Alexi Grewal had on his '84 Olympic-winning Pinarello. By 1985, there wasn't a single name that didn't have this scheme in their lineup:
D'Arienzo (Basso):

Gardin (piss poor job at copying it):

Wenger (thought to be re-badged Pinny):

I like the way those look. The must be fraternal twins and not identical twins.

A different hand prepared the seat stays on each; that's for sure. Either that, or they didn't spec rounded-end 531 tubes on the white/blue/yellow/red frame. Looks as if the other frame got a mix of end styles.

Kurt, these bikes are insanely awesome. You always seem to end up with twins!
