Utility Cycling - Seat post mounted trailer hitches

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was just looking at the "Trailer Construction Tips" thread, and saw a LOT of 'sidewinder' type hitches, but not many seat post mounted hitches. I'm looking for ideas for my second trailer, and want to use a seat post mount.:thumb:
My first trailer uses one, but is a little heavy (27lbs), so I am thinking of doing another one, but lighter.
