Foo - Air quality monitor?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does anyone happen to know anything about air quality monitors or testing kits? Is there a good consumer-level device that can provide reasonably detailed information about indoor air quality? Any recommendations would be much appreciated...
Canary? If it dies, get out.
If I could just find a live canary in this city to start with...
What about a parrot? Inspect it carefully, as it may be nailed to it's perch though.

Do not ask jsharr about air quality.
Our atmosphere is poisonous to his kind which is why he get's oxygen and other vital elements through inhaling chili dogs.

Wrong, and here is proof that I found on the internet, so it must be true.
At work. They're renovating next door. Fumes are overpowering, have a splitting headache. Don't want to think about what I'm breathing.
You air breathers amuse jsharr. My respiration membrane is not affected by noxious gases, at least not in a bad way. Sometimes I sense colors more vibrantly when I filter smog.
I must bow before the knowledge of the internets.
Here you go:

 If I had been looking for a real answer, I wouldn't have come here.
(thanks, though... that looks like just the thing).
