Carving is really fun.

Carving is perhaps the most purest form of freeriding around. There is a place for the newer stuff but in the beginning carving is the original freeriding. One thing that comes with carving is flow, if you have flow then you can carve. It has been my style of riding for the past 3 months. Carving is not really about the drops, it's not about the jumps, it's not about the stunts, carving is about turning and deciding your own path if that path brings you to jumps and drops and so on that is fine. When a person is on when carving the flow involved with it is an amazing thing to see, very inspirational to see. To those thare trying too hard to figure out this thing called freeriding and are taking main focus on the drops, stunts and jumps, take some time out and try carving. For those that can do freeriding but feel like something is missing, carving is the answer.

:D...wade simmons is king in my eyes. His views on biking on raw and at their best. He rides...why...cause he loves to be on his bike and ride. Go big, small...it doesn't matter its about flow. When he ride it is like watching art...

I know I sound like a hippy but everytime Ihave ever seen him in vids orreal life the only person to come close is Cedric...except take away some flow and add 30km/hr :)

Thanx kona...you just made me wanna go ride :)

As I'm fairly new to this sport, I don't know who Wade Simmons is :(

Anyone have any videos? :)

Wade Simmons is one of the original freeriders. He rides for Rocky Mountain, he is also one of the kindest people around.
