youre kinda dumb cuz its a perfectly good bike that works like a perfectly good bike without a dent in it. i dont do tricks on it, so i see no point in having it perfectly good. and it works fine, i dont even notice the dent, prolly cuz thats how i started riding it. the point is, i use it to get around, and it came complete with gt parts, rims and all, that were in perfect condition, so the question is, can i fix it?

to fix it you would have to replace the top tube and downtube with new ones OR you could bend it back and weld gussetts over the bends, otherwise, I'd say find a new frame and put all of the other parts on it

your never gonna be able to.

first you would have to heat the metal. really really hot, tahts going to cause the chrome to pretty much strip off.

now if you were to bend it back without heat, your never get it true or ever get it straight. its screwed dude, just get a new frame.

To bend it back you could fill it up with sand, heat it up and shape it back. It will be much weaker after all that tho. If you ride it comfortably leave it alone. Or use your HARO from the other post :D

The frame is really not that screwed if you are just riding it around. That specific GT already had a bend at that point in the down tube.

The HUGE dent in the down tube is the added bonus.

That dent probably isn't the end of the world, but it likely has fatigued your top tube as well as the down tube and you want to be very careful to NOT try bunnyhops and even simple stuff on that frame. Repairing it would cost well more than that frame was ever worth... frankly, you paid more than it was worth considering the severe flaw.
