I'm looking for a non-carbon CX fork that can fit an IS 185mm disc rotor and caliper. Any suggestions?
My current fork---a stock 2008 La Cruz fork---offers only about .5mm clearance for a 185mm rotor between the rotor and the fork's inner-side; a little close for long term comfort. I'm afraid a carbon fork may not be up to the task of true ruggedness, but i'd entertain arguments from believers.
I see Salsa, Tange and others make CroMo forks; any others? Any brand better than another?
