I need a commuter/whatever bike... this seems like a decent deal for a bang-around everyday / project bike.... thoughts anyone?

You expected an answer within 4 hours? Really?
The bike was a cheaper one from Concorde, but was OK. It's from around 1990.
The saddle on that one is obviously wrecked, and (more concerningly) the handlebars look bent. I'd take a close look at it to check for other damage and talk him down on the price.

ha sorry def didn't mean to be snarky... meant it like... "well i'll just have to go and get it then!"

yeah i'm gonna go check it out and talk him down a little. i have a saddle in matchin colours coincidentally... but if the bars are in fact bent its a prob...
