Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Flying Squirrel

I have no idea what this is so Im prolly opening a can of worms.

I was on bikagestore.com and saw the flying squirrel shirt. Description said you'd understand if you were a bikeforums member.

Im fairly new, and if im not fairly new, fairly oblivious to the flying squirrel and its meaning...if it has one.

Someone please explain the flying squirrel and sorry if I ve opened a can of worms!
