49cm Bianchi Reparto Corse Chromo Lite Eros (Late 90s?)

My wife got this bike to train for the 2000 Little Five Hundred (so I would guess it is a 98) and hasn't ridden it since. We are going to get rid of it and I have been clicking around on the internet to see if it was still worth some money. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of conflicting information on the internet as to the various classifications and values of Bianchis. I have attached photos of all the little stickers on the bike, with the hope that someone here could give me an idea if this thing is worth $50 or $500.

Also, we no longer have the seat. Do you guys think I would be better of replacing it before selling or just selling without the seat?

Hello welcome to the forums. first off yes replace the post and seat before selling it you will get a better price.

now I sometimes get greif here for saying this but. I have been told by Bianchi that during the latter part of the '90s and early '00s it was common practice to put a RC decal on almost every bike. while this bike may have trickle down technology from the RC it was not built in the RC. real RC department bikes seldom had a name attached to them especially one as common as Veloce. you can write to Bianchi USA and ask if you wish.

being as this bike is in great condition and a very small one I would say you should be able to get between $350 and 400 depending on your market.

Replace the seat. I'm thinking $325-350.

THANKS! I am in DC, which seems to have a pretty robust cycling community, so I will probably just try putting on Craigslist. Any reccomendations for the replacement saddle/post?

Go as inexpensive as possible on the post and seat.
