Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Bridgestone 400 value
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I ran across a very clean Bridgestone 400 at the bike recycler. They plan on cleaning it up and selling it to finance their operation. It looks like this: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bridgestone/1985/pages/10.-bridgestone-400psd.html
I am thinking of making an offer on this bike. What would be a fair price?
Need a pic of the real bike, rather than a catalog page, as it is all about condition. It could be worth $25, it could be worth $200 (perfect, ready to ride, in a hot market), and everything in between.
+1 To below: It is not one of those highly sought after Bridgestone models (low number MBs and low number RBs). But Bridgestones have a following.

If it's in pretty good shape I would say anywhere between $100-$125 in my market. Maybe a bit less. The hot Bridgestones price-wise are the MB's, RB's and XO's.

27" wheels? $125 max.
700c wheels? $125-175

I'll try to get one. It looked to be in very good condition, though. They are going to go through it to get it ready for sale.
