I just bought my first bike after not riding for 20 years. 20 years ago I was 11, mind you, and I was riding BMX bikes.

I got the bike (an old KHS Montana) off Craigslist for $100. I wanted to get more familiar with riding, bike components, maintenance, etc. before dropping big bucks on a new ride.

Anyway, I look forward to learning as much as I can here.

Get in shape then go look at some new ones.
That is the way I started.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll definitely be absorbing as much information as I can. I'm already addicted.

No pics yet, RonH, but I'll post some when I get home. Thanks for the link. I'm fairly new to the Nashville area and it'll be nice to find a group to ride with/show me the ropes.
