Hi
My daughter scraped the kerb with her bike and broke the rear deralia, just taken it off and its not very strong at all.
Back in my day ......
Can I just buy the alloy plate that is broken?

I'll guess that the der. was attached to a replaceable der. hanger. If that's the case yes. We could use a little more info.

It would be best to take it to your LBS and have them to install it for you they will have to re line the RD so it will shift good for her.Unless you have the tools to do it your self and know how to do it as well.It want cost that much to get it fix at all.

That sounds about right, I have taken the plate off with an allen key, everything else seems ok. The bike is a girls Carera just a couple of years old.
I prefer to fix it myself, and help her learn a little.
Thanks .. S

I did search ebay, but could not find it; so went on my bike to Halfords.
Nearly dropped through the floor when they said £10 ...
