I came across this site that lists bike paths by region, and thought I'd share. English version doesn't seem to work, but it's not too hard to figure out. Hope it helps someone.

I hadn't known about this one (http://www.af3v.org/spip.php?page=rubrique&id_rubrique=121&voie=160#) along the Rhone river sorta between Lyon + Annecy + Chambery -- it's an area where I had been wanting the roads anyway, so having a bike path offers more options.

So it's already helping me -- Thanks.

Two on that site which I've done which are rather pretty are:

* along the Lac d'Annecy (http://www.af3v.org/spip.php?page=rubrique&id_rubrique=121&voie=153) - (also can connect it with roads to make a loop around the whole lake.)

* along the upper Isere River near Bourg St Maurice + Aime (http://www.af3v.org/spip.php?page=rubrique&id_rubrique=121&voie=154)
- (also connect with roads to make a spectacular (and stenuous) mountainside loop (http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Aime-Bourg-Saint-Maurice-Versant-du-Soleil-loop))
