Kurt... pure epicness. I love the movie itself, and the parody definitely rivals the actual thing! :roflmao:

The original movie was a parody. What ever happened to Rae Dawn Chong?

The original movie was a parody.

That's giving it all the best of it. Cycling bits were top notch though :D

Very campy (rimshot). I felt like I was watching late night British TV.

Better than the original movie and it was only 5 minutes, 2 birds, one stone!

Great movie, I think I'll pull my copy out and watch it again. OK, the acting is crap, and the Russian rider is pretty weird, but great scenery and some nice riding.

Nice job Kurt.

Wow, that movie was 25 years ago...

Haha - looks as if I aced the gags then. I was particularly worried about the length that the McDonalds bit ran - Herb Alpert's version of "I'm an Old Cowhand (From the Rio Grande)" is pretty much the only thing holding that segment together.

I loved it! Although when Davey was on the treadmill I thought we would have a cut to the movie Scanners where his head explodes, lol.

I kept waiting for a certain young man, :innocent: with dark, slightly un-kept hair, and riding in leather dress shoes to appear. ;) Or was that you near the end sending the domestique to find you some vodka? When did you grow a beard? If not, great makeup artist! :roflmao2: Love the vintage helmet. Nice touch!

Well done!

I can't believe you didn't include the microsecond shot of Becky's nipple.

The thing to do in a parody would have been to make it seem as if the censors descended on that frame of film like an anvil.

To tell you the truth, I didn't even know that shirt-changing scene existed - the first (and last) time I watched that movie throughout on On Demand, I was so fed up with the movie that I was fast-forwarding to the cycling segments and watching nothing else.

I saw a pre-release showing at the Coors Classic in San Francisco where I was a course marshall. They gave us volunteers all tickets to see it at the Palace of Fine Arts. Steve Tesich gave an introduction and some of the racers were also in the audience (I saw Bernard Hinault there.) So I have a little bit more fondness for the movie than it would otherwise merit.

Indeed, I can see why. Would have been fun to be there; that's for sure.
