General Cycling Discussion - Has anyone heard of Louis Garneau ?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

AFIK, all of Garneau's garments are made in the US; the company is based in Canada. this, IMO, makes it much better than the majority of the bike biz. don't know about the bikes, though his reputation is generally quite good.
Yes, of course I know of Louis Garneau. It's a Canadian company (or somewhat Canadian, see above) which makes all sorts of clothing and accessories. My first helmet years ago was a Louis Garneau. One of the things they specialise in is making custom cycling clothing. Your team can order up a set of jerseys from them.
Here is there site: http://www.louisgarneau.com/lang_select.php

Yes. . I have one pair of his shorts.. I wear his signature just a little south of my butt. They are one of my more comfortable set of bike shorts.

Try looking at the Canadian version of the site (bottom of the page) as they do sell bikes in Canada, but apparently not the USA. The TT 8.0 isn't there, so you may have to try da Google.
I've seen the Axis in one or two of what I would consider to be the more reputable local bike stores in my area, so LG can't be total crap. But neither store seemed to have any of their higher-end bikes in-store from what I could see.
I had one of their racks.
