Just got a Quarq powermeter/SRAM 975 and am itching to install it.:D

What tools do I need to remove the 2010 Shimano 105 and to install the new SRAM 975?

Crank puller? Bottom bracket tool? Etc?

Thanks!!

This will remove the 105 crank preload screw and the BB. You need a 5mm allem wrench for the left crank bolts. http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_10053_10052_125115_-1_201492_10000_200497
It should also work with the Sram BB.

I think the external BB stuff has agreed upon the diameter of the axle tube attached to the right arm,

You may get away with just changing the 2 arm assemblies themselves. [preload & 5mm allen removal ]

But if your powermeter has to be interfacing the Bearing assemblys themselves , then you have to pull them too.

I don't know about Italian Bike tool sources , Wiggle and Chain Reaction and SJS,
all in the UK, will ship anywhere .

Nashbar in the states will, probably, too .
credit card numbers do many things in far away places.

Power meter is worse than a speedometer, do a lot of work and the data is going to say "is that all you can do?"..
