Sure.

1. Sore thumb, can't change channels with pre-burnout haste
2. No desire to change any channels, period. You only hit the "back" button and flip between two channels
3. Fast forwarding your DVR through the commercial break, you don't both rewinding even if you go too far. Doesn't matter because it's a rerun anyway.
4. You no longer wash the 1 plate, 1 bowl, and 1 cup that you use 24/7.

It's a nasty syndrome.
