This is my first post here on this forum apart from the intro. So I thought I should start by sharing my experience cycling in the rains. Here in Mumbai its monsoon time and I totally love & enjoy riding on the streets..pretty clean and dark ! I own a "Cannondale CAAD8 - 6" One of my friend told me that there can be a chance of chain skip because I ride in rains....But my cannondale has'nt disappointed me yet ! It was so much fun riding on the street with the helmets on....cool breeze passing by...I was like totally shivering but still the passion within me wasn't allowing me to stop doing it. I like riding on different locations, so people it would be nice to know some places where I can actually take my bike and have fun...

I understand the enjoyment you found while riding in heavy rain. As long as I'm able to see during a downpour, and I don't have to ride everyday in one, I also find it exhilarating

I don't mind riding in the rain. I don't mind riding in the cold either. What I mind is when it is both cold and rainy.
