Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Am I the first person to haver a problem with Chuck's Bikes?

I orderd the bullhorn bars and white bar tape and anxiously awaited their arival for a week.. but was very disapointed to find a small box in my front door containing a MTB stem... They were very cool about sending the bars out right even before I sent the stem back and all is well, but it just kinda stunk.

Hey! You got my box! :) Did it have spacers in there as well? I do know that I got yours, as low and behold I had bullhorns and tape. Got a call from him and things seem to be fine now. I've ordered from him on maybe 6 different times and this is the first. No biggie.

I have probably purchased from Chuck a dozen times with not problems. He has spent time with me answering questions and checking his stock for unlisted sizes when I have inquired. What you describe is a minor glitch that he corrected immediately. I have experienced much worse from other sources. What more do you want? You seem young. Let me advise you. If you are going to get this upset over such a trivial matter you will live a very unhappy life. Chill.

I'm riding them for the first time today.. havent yet.

also my frist time riding horns and only been riding a non-bmx bike for the past few weeks.. so I dont know if I'de veen be able ot tell..

The problem was simple and was rectified rather quickly. I'd say Chuck's did you pretty good.

definately.. they made a mistake as does everybody. but they fixed it, and fixed it quick. I am very happy witht them.

i've ordered from them once. and had a pretty annoying problem with them.

i ordered two sets of forks. they shipped them without giving me a tracking number, and without putting my apartment number on the address label. so UPS couldn't deliver them. then, i got the notice from UPS saying that they couldn't deliver them and to call them within 8 days or the package would be sent back. and of course i got it on the 8th day. i called them and they were all "sorry yo, but your **** was already sent back!" and i was all "WTF?!!?" so i emailed chuck and was all pissed off and he sent them back to me as soon as he got them with free shipping...again without a tracking number, or letting me know that he had shipped them.

i'd order from him again if he still had the forks that i ordered, but near as i can tell, kinesis doesn't even make them anymore, and the supply that he had was leftovers or something. (kinesis straight blade fork, and kinesis airfoil 650c)

That's what he sells - overstocks and liquidations that he picks up on the cheap and sells to us cheap. Cut the guy some slack. It's one guy practically working out of his garage. There is no "they".

My 2 cents,,,,I bought like $80. worth of downhill tires (for my s/s) from him for $20. and a Lx crank for 20bucks also. A buddy bought a single speed frame for like $120. his deals
are awesome and I would refer anyone to him
