Title says it all, though telegraphically.
My wife and I are in our early sixties, just buying our first tandem (and spending the money to get one that we think will maximize pleasure while reducing exertion), living IN (as opposed to near) San Francisco. We have quite limited cycling experience but love riding slowly, cautiously, and for the pleasure of it--as well as looking forward to the fitness regimen.
It'll be a delight to connect with others, and to start tandeming!
