Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - What are these wheels?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I dunno about those rims, but from the pic, I'd say the hubs are White Industries ;)

yikes. those wheels are about as generic as they come.
if I had to guess, they're weinmann's laced for formulas. but that's a guess. maybe take em to a LBS that caters to fixed riders and directly compare them to a known velocity or weinmann, or whatever rim.
or MAYBE if you tell us what you paid for it, what kinda other components are on it, and what kinda frame it is, we could try to back-calculate the cost of the wheelset alone, and match that to the current "market value" of other known used wheelsets...
also... if you just bought it, it's cool, but you should probably look into getting some foot retention if you plan on keeping it fixed.

Could they be Alex rims? Do they made a deeper rim?

ouch. probably are alex rims.

check out pages 2 or 3 of their road rims. they're the only rims i know of that have that weird "wear indicator" strip... which is goofy because the pads wear down, the sidewall surfaces really dont. just another way to sell more, i guess...

Yea i paid 350 for the whole bike. Its got names on all the other parts except the rims. They do look like the alexrims on page 2 but dont have that sticker and i already looked for a discolored spot where one could have been. Thanks for the answeres, anyone else?

I don't think they are Alex, most Alex rims have either one line as the indicator or none.
It looks like one of those cheap, unsealed wheelset that came with one of those Republic bike or something alone that line.

They're the 'SWIFT ARRIV' wheels found on Crosslake Sales bikes (on eBay). By the looks of what I can see of your frame, that's what bike you've got (although it's obviously repainted).

220 for full bike. check what components the rest are and see if that comes close enough to justifying a 350 pricetag. if not, you might want to have a word with the seller...

protip: When you see some vague post selling a "sweet fixie!" or something along that line, instead of a full parts list, browse away.
Buy an old frame a build it up yourself. I just bought a 70s 62cm Motobecane. Make it a project. It's much cheaper than buying a new bike, as well.

That depends on many many many things.

Yes, I quickly realized that after I hit reply. In fact, I was just about to edit it when my internet disconnected haha.
