Yeah, that was brutal, like it took me all of 5 seconds and I'm a very slow hunt and peck typist. Man, I'm exhausted now, gotta get some sleep. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bringing back this thread; need some advice.
I bought a pair of Vittoria Randonneur 700 x 28 (black, no reflective sidewall) about 2 months ago. I just cleaned off all the mud and noticed tiny cracks, about 1/2 the size of a rice grain or smaller, scattered all around the wheel on both sides that go parallel with the tire (i.e. it is not cracking perpendicularly). There are some longer cracks, but it's not very wide, if that makes any sense. I have been inflating my tires only to the max PSI, which I believe is 85.
On the other hand, my rear tire perfect and has no cracks. I have also inflated this tire to 85 PSI. I rarely skid and the back tire is in pretty mcuh perfect condition.
So, is my front tire defective? Anyone else experience this?

The past few weeks is my first time trying Randos, so far I sorta hate them! They are hard to get on the rim, and my front one has the wire beading exposed already and has had 3 flats, and I haven't tried to air it up again since yesterday, because it's going to make a forth, I just know it!

Randos are pretty tough. You're most likely pinching the tube when installing them.
The Kool-Stop tire bead jack will be your new best friend.

Also, since my tire beading is fairly exposed, do I need to say fluff it and change my tire?

That tire is toast.

That tire is toast.
Like toast in the delicious way? Or toast in the burnt to a crisp rock way?
