actually, reading bike thief forums is probably smart, not because i want to steal bikes, but to learn about what they look for.
trust me, i have enough bikes as it is lol

but from reading that small snipet, it seems the small time thieves definitely prefer cable locks.

**** In my experience whenever I carry them in my bag- even concealed everyone looks at me funny. When I just carry them in blind sight e.g. my hand no one gives a damn. I litreally just pulled up to a bike tied to a tree, cut the lock, put it in the back of my car and drove off.

It's ****ing hilarious, whenever I try to be casual about it e.g. pull it out of my bag and do that **** I get the feeling everyones looking at me.

Check the one out about killing a neighbor's dog. Ideas range from kidnapping, vodka/chocolate poisoning, BB gun shooting, and putting fishing line in food in order to tie the dog's intestines. Seriously ****ed up forum.
