Hey,

after a long time reading only, here is who I am:
48 years, photo- and videographer, merried, two sons.
After riding a 28" travel bike from "VFS Fahrradmanufaktur (http://www.strupp.de/altesrad.jpg)" for more than 20 years, I purchased this spring a Red Bull Activa 1, from Radsport Rose (http://www.strupp.de/neuesrad.jpg). Rose is the biggest bike shop in Europe.
When I don't need my car at work, I go by bike to work and to many other places around.
In our summer holidays we travel from campsite to campsite in the Netherlands and France.

Best regards
Christian

Hallo Christian and welcome to Bike Foums!

I've done a bit of shopping at Rose webshop myself. It's addictive. :D

Erwin Rose, the owner, helped me in 1992, when I decided to make advertising photographs of bike components for my design diploma.
He simply gave me a complete Dura Ace group and said: Bring it back when you have finished.

In April I drove to Rose, just to look. Not to buy or order. The employee in the shop said only: "Well, everybody coming in says so." and smiled.
I had a look on the actual Activa 1 (2010), which I did not really like because of the fat head tube. Another guy came shoving another Activa looking better anyhow, so I asked "What is this one?"
It was the 2009 model, 20% discount on the prize of the frame. I rode 20 meters and "snapped into place" on the bike. After checking the space between the heels of my clickpedal shoes and my panniers I ordered...
Great service, great bike. Much fun to ride.

Regards, Christian
