any suggestions for attaching a front derailleur to a curved stoker seat tube...? The curved portion of the seat tube changes the attitude of the cage, causing the chain to ride on the trailing edge of the cage when it's on the small ring. I'm thinking of an E-clamp front derailleur as a workaround.
I have the same problem with my Bob Jackson. I was either going to make an aluminium clamp on adapter so that I can then bolt on a derailleur that would normally go to a brazed on mount, or as I am due to repaint the frame I may braze a mount onto the seat tube.
