I've found surprisingly little information or discussion out there on Racktime (http://www.racktime.com/) stuff. It's a Tubus subsidiary and their stuff looks to be designed to have quick releases to go on and off the bike easily. It's all pretty reasonably priced for nice German-designed stuff.
I especially like the Wallit (http://www.racktime.com/en/bicycle-bags/wallit), which is actually pretty attractive as opposed to most bike stuff which ranges from ugly to at best okay, unless it's really expensive. I've decided to order it (from REI, just to be safe) even though there isn't much information out there on it. Note that trim is faux leather according to REI, which is fine by me as I'm vegetarian. It's probably no more than water-resistant, but that's fine by me as I'm in San Diego. Most of their other stuff has rain covers.
Is anyone else out there actually using this stuff? It seems like it's been out there for at least a year. Is it uncommon just because it's not in many shops?
I'll give my thoughts on rack and bag when they arrive.
